Some application forms require the same, usually in a strip along the bottom of the photo.

Frequently asked questions
Why do exams ask for a name and date on the photo?
It proves the photograph is recent and belongs to you. Exams such as NEET and JEE have asked candidates to upload a photo with their name and the date the photo was taken printed on it, usually along the bottom.
What date format should I use?
Most Indian forms expect DD/MM/YYYY, which is what this tool uses. Always check your form’s own instructions — a few ask for a specific format or a particular date.
Where should the text go?
The bottom of the photo is the most common requirement, and you can switch to the top if your form asks for that. There is also a ‘below the photo’ option, which adds a band underneath instead of writing over the image — useful when the form says the text must not cover your face.
Can I change the text size and colour?
Yes. Open ‘Text style’ to change the size, switch between white and black text, and turn the background strip on or off so the text stays readable on any photo.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The photo is drawn and saved entirely on your own device, so it never leaves your browser.
What size should the final photo be?
That depends on the form — many ask for specific pixel dimensions and a KB limit. After stamping, use our Image Resizer for Forms to hit those numbers exactly.
