How do I make a signature online?
Choose Draw, Type or Upload above. Draw lets you sign with your mouse or finger; Type turns your name into a handwriting-style font; Upload cleans up a photo of your real signature. Then download it as a PNG or JPG.
Can I get a transparent background?
Yes. Choose 'Transparent' before downloading as PNG — the background is removed so you can paste your signature onto any document, form or photo without a white box around it.
How does the upload option remove the background?
It reads the brightness of every pixel and makes the lighter, paper-coloured areas transparent while keeping the darker ink strokes. The 'Remove background' slider controls how aggressively it does this, and you can optionally recolour the strokes to a clean black, blue or custom ink colour.
Which format should I download — PNG or JPG?
Use PNG if you want a transparent background (most document and form uploads prefer this). JPG always has a white background, since the JPG format can't store transparency — use it only if the form specifically asks for a JPG.
Is my signature uploaded anywhere?
No. Whether you draw, type or upload a photo, everything is processed and drawn entirely inside your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so your signature stays private.
